Strategies for Effective Room Design

Believe it or not, the way the classroom is set up affects the way the children learn and behave. The learning environment should be intentional and developmentally appropriate.

This course will focus on how the environment is the third teacher. We will discover how the environment supports children's behavior and ability to discover and learn.

Use the included Room Design Checklist to evaluate the effectiveness of your current room design and to help map out some new ideas. Then, label your room with the included Center signs.

This course awards a certificate for 1 credit hour upon successful completion of the course quiz.
