Observing Development-Writing Skills
Educators aware of the latest research in young children’s development of early literacy understand that helping children learn to write and read needs to come before kindergarten and first grade. Today’s research shows more clearly how writing and reading can emerge naturally in children under the right conditions. It shows how children make sense of their world through playful exploration, and how children’s brains take in this information and extract rules from it to support their early literacy skills.
In this course, learn how to observe the early literacy skills of children. This course is part of our observation track.
